MANDATORY LOTTERY/RAFFLE FUNDRAISER:

 

Did you know that we incur over $40,000 in Ice and Hall rental costs per season? That doesn't include our coaching and administration costs that we need to cover as well!

We are so excited to be hosting our own in-house lottery raffle for the 2025-2026 Season! In the past, we added a $40.00 mandatory fundraising booklet (per skater per season) to all registrations, but this year we obtained our own non-profit lottery license, collected some fantastic prize donations, and are now able to host a really exciting raffle with much higher odds of winning!

Proceeds from our lottery help pay for our ice rental costs to keep our base program fees as low as possible while continuing to offer well-developed programs to our skaters as a not-for-profit club.

Some key points about this fundraiser are:

• This fee is 100% recoverable/recoupable - families pay the club for their tickets at the time of registration, and then all money they get when they sell the tickets, they keep! 
• Families will be given their lottery tickets by the end of September 2025 and will have until March 26, 2026 to return all their sold/filled out ticket stubs.
• We have early bird draws starting in January 2026, so the sooner ticket stubs are returned, the better!
• Each family needs to sell only fifteen $10 tickets - we are optimistic that this should be manageable for everyone!
• Families can sell their mandatory tickets to family and friends so they can get all of the money back OR if they want, they can simply put their own name/information on the ticket stubs to have a chance at winning themselves!
• Families who sell all their mandatory number of tickets are welcome to "buy" more tickets to resell - please see an Executive member if you would like more tickets!
• Only 1500 tickets (max) will be sold so the odds of winning are really good!
• We have some awesome prizes to be won and by selling to local community members, the winners will all be family, friends, and members of our skating club!

• Thursday, January 29, 2026 - Draw 2 - LONDON CHIROPRACTIC gift basket and certificate + 2 tickets to our end of season Ice Show
• Thursday, February 12, 2026 - Draw 3 - BALANCED WELLNESS gift basket and voucher
• Thursday, February 26, 2026 - Draw 4 -  WESTMINSTER MUTUAL swag bag and golf voucher + MISTYGLEN gift card + 2 tickets to our end of season Ice Show
• Thursday, March 12, 2026 - Draw 5 - YOGA BARN bundle and voucher

*All winning early bird tickets will be put back in to be eligible for the grand prize draw
